Happiness is.....

Happiness is many things but today i feel like a million dollars. Want to know why?
Ok i'll tell you.

Today i went to see a photographer in Leiden, (The Netherlands) called Michael. I've done a previous shoot with him of which the results were pretty good. In fact the ones of me wearing The Ballet boots & Purple Latex Catsuit are by his fair hands.

We started shortly after 11am and finished around 2pm. He invited this ever so lovely (retired) lady to view the shoot. Apparently she photoshops his photos only she doesn't use photoshop, instead she uses a windows program of which i forget it's name.

As we walked from the station to his studio i could have sworn she was looking for a way of running away and not coming to the shoot. But bravo girl, you stuck with us and i really do believe that if it wasn't for you relaxing, we wouldn't have had such a lovely fun few hours together. I especially appreciate your sincere words about how much more alive i look when i'm dressed completely as a girl. It's true i do, i just wish i could go all the way but i think there are some physical factors that would need addressing. (but more on that another time).

We did 2 outfit changes. The first consisted of a moulded rubber bra semi creation of mine with a synthetic off the shoulder short body top which worked stunningly well with a black well worn Vollers 20" corset. (More on corsetry another time). Under the corset i had on a mid thigh length Black Rubber circle skirt which i made a couple of years ago. Still feels, looks and smells like new.
On my legs i wore a mix of fishnet and thick criss cross net tights and then to complete the ensemble my absolute favorite new boots. They're knee high, black leather, UK8's, Completely fitted and a very comfortable 6" heel.

The second consisted of the same tights (wish i could afford a pair in latex) with a brand new (very simple) adaptation of the long black side split dress but this time in a Purple pearlsheen .30mm Latex, again made by my ever so fare hands. All finished off with a pair of 4" black patent converted mules that i find incredibly sexy.

But the WOW factor has to be my face and hair. I didn't go overboard with the foundation, in fact i used shades that brought out the chic in me. Blush and lip gloss where needed, eyes all a smiling and happy all finished off with straight hair. Ok so it wasn't perfect, but it was close and i felt a MILLION dollars. If only i could afford the services of a pro make up and hair artist for a days shooting i can only imagine perfection.

So, what do you think to the new pics? The rest of these shoots i'll upload to the new site when my webmaster stops finding excuses as to why it's taking him so damned long to get his ************* act together.

Old news recently discovered

The love of my life picked up a copy of Trans Lips magazine the other day and discovered on page 36 a picture of (left to right) Katja aka Miss Demonia 2007, Judy (my best friend) and me taken at the Nuit Demonia party in Paris last December.

If anyone reading this finds other such images of me i'd be truly grateful if you would let me know.

The next addition (once i get the pics from Judy) to my blog will be a comments and pics about my 3rd visit to the Wave Gothic Treffen in Leipzig 8 to 13May 2008.

Midnight SIN - A Gothic/Fetish party in Amsterdam

Up until last night the Goth and underground scene in Amsterdam was on the decline with little or no parties to attend apart from League of Extraordinary DJ's, The Korsakoff and Bal du Masque.

Congratulations to the Boudoir Bizarre team for having the guts and determination to put together a Gothic Fetish party in Zaandam, 15 minutes or so from Amsterdam. A pity that we have to travel for such events.

Although the party got off to a slow start it wasn't too long before the place was teaming with Goths, Fetishists and others, all resplendent in the prescribed dress code of black. Great to see many faces old and new from the regular to the mildly curious.

The party was split into three rooms, dance floor, chill out lounge and a dungeon and play rooms up one flight of stairs. There was also a display of paintings by the artist Run_Paint_Run along one side of the dance floor. If you didn't see his paintings you should check out his myspace page

Four DJ's; G-Host, XL11, Distorted Boy and Annakonda kept the dance floor humming to the sound of the kind of music (Gothic, Darkwave, Electro & EBM) that you come to expect from a party of the Gothic genre.

The chill out room had it's own bar was nicely furnished without being too cluttered.

Unfortunately i cannot say too much about the upper level Dungeon and playroom but saw a lot of happy smiling faces so one would presume it lived upto everyone's expectations.

I hope that Midnight Sin becomes a regular underground event and doesn't become a victim of it's own success by becoming too commercial.

In my mind the party scored a 10 but then i'm biased to favouring a quality underground event. If you didn't go then my advice to anyone remotely interested is to miss the next one at your peril.

This is a pic of the outfit i wore to the party. The boots are so sexy but i'm sorry to say that i chickened out to wearing them to the party, favoring my favorite knee high army boots instead.
