Heads & Tails

What a cool weekend that's just gone.

Made a date to meet a cute guy at On The Edge here in Amsterdam. It's amazing how all these gay boyz bring out the fem bitch in me. To say i flirted with everyone i spoke to & danced with must surely be the biggest understatement of my life.
Not only did i look HOT but i felt like a million dollars in a latex/cotton mix & New Rocks. Damn it, must get myself a small digi cam at least i can show you just how great the party was. Did i pull i hear you ask,HAHAHA, you think i'm gonna tell everyone on LJ.
Congrats to DJ MissWendy & DJRJ for playing an awesome mix of 80's/90's anthems. Had only a few drinks yet it went straight to my head but then again it could have been the champagne that was thrust into my greedy paws on arrival.
Super to see some pretty girlz there too. Sure hope to see them all again soon.

After receiving a text from an aquaintance from London i headed off at around 2am for Wasteland where i had my name on the guest list. Damn it wish i'd stayed at On The Edge. Although it was great to finally meet up with Sylvia (of Bondinage.com) & her very cute girlfriend i wasn't that impressed with (Get Wasted at) Wasteland, again. It's just a sex & dance party. Why do straight boys have this desire to be blown off by a TGirl? As much as i'm flattered by the compliment i just do not do casual sex, regardless of gender.
One day someones gonna fall down the stairs to the upper level and break a leg or something more serious. When will Wasteland learn to make an appealing dungeon for the players out there. Don't just stick it in a corner & hope for the best. Funny thing is that the place was packed with people from out of town, mainly the UK & Germany.

By 0530 i'd had enough and headed home.
Great to hear that everyone else who went out that weekend also had a good time.

Redshift & more

At long last i managed to get a full weekend off work and although i had lots planned i wasn't sure just how great it was going to be.

Saturday i went to the MAC shop to get some more translucent powder. The shop assistant was English and we clicked right away. Naturally she wanted to make some commission on sales so the gist of the transaction got around to foundation and before i knew it i was sat down discussing skin tones and what shade would suit me. What a weird feeling though, having a makeover in a shop. But i did get some nice new makeup and wondered how i would look later that night.

After trawling the shops for a couple more hours i needed some more money. Why is that when you're in a hurry every cashpoint has run out of funds. Finally after a relentless search my mission was accomplished and got the necessary funds to pay the cleaner & for the night ahead.

We were told that we we had to be at Annaconda's place by 8pm so i picked Sasha up enroute and we arrived there in plenty of time for the journey to The Hague. My first impression of the club was my god it's so small. That didn't matter too much when the DJ's (Krat, DistortedBoy and the ever so super Annaconda) started their various sets. Although the crowd were pretty slow in getting into the mood of the music it wasn't long before the club was buzzing with sounds of the underground which had everyone jigging & jiving in their own personal way.
Annaconda we want more!!!
I often find it very easy to critique a party but for once there were only 2 things that were missing; decoration & visual projections.
The party finished at 5am & we began our trek back to Amsterdam. Remember to go to the loo before leaving!!! Yeah, right. Therefore an emergency pitstop was required to defuel. If i'm ever at a loss of what to do i'll write a book on Toilet Grafitti.
A part of me wished i had gone to the afterparty whereas the other part of me just zonked out at 7am. Alex stayed over to sleep in my rubber sheets. Shame she couldn't sleep, must have been something she took. When will she learn not to use every weekend.

Sunday was just a blur but at least i didn't have to do anything important. So i just chilled out and had a lovely soak in the bath.

Talking of Visuals i'm about to start a project with a friend of mine from Zwolle where we're going to make our own movies. Probably something alomg the lines of http://www.spoomovies.co.uk/
However, what i plan on doing is to mix the finished product into a VJ set for use in clubs. It's going to take time to put it all together but could do with knowing what software & hardware i need for making, mixing & projecting such images.

Heads it's Wasteland. Tails it's On the Edge.

I would guess that i am not the only person who wished they'd bought a Craig Morrison bug bag when they were available. So imagine my complete surprise when after typing in the bug bag search up they popped.

Amora 10March and other ramblings

I normally party on a Saturday night but had to make an exception last Friday when Sasha, Isabelle & i headed down to Utrecht for the 1st Amora party at the new location.

After much driving around Utrecht we finally found the parking garage & disposed of the car in a safe location right by the exit door. The flyer said that the club was only 50 metres or so from the exit door. The question on our lips was "Have we found the right door?" Sure had, in fact no sooner had we walked onto the street than my eagle eyes spotted Alan & Anaconda sliding right past us & into the club. Unknown to us at the time we were followed (probably stalked) in by Alex (a cool cute FtoM TG type & great friend) and Renée (her good buddy). Great minds think alike or fools seldom differ.

Being the reserved type it can often take me time to relax & get into the mood of a party but my friends helped me realx into the party very well. Was also great to exchange a few words with Annaconda with whom i've never really had too much to say to in the past. I now realise that i should try & be a bit more outgoing and talk to her as she seems to be a very inteligent person and with whom i am sure a great conversation can be had.
Then again i should also make an effort to talk to complete strangers too. Piet was there too. Now he is very nice and i'm looking forward to getting to know him as the great friend he is turning into. He's Intelligent as well. So come on Piet lets dance, chill and have a laugh.

I heard that Medussa was there too but got so lost in the music and the vibe (maybe it was something i took) that i didn't say hello. Damn it, why didn't i just shimmy over. Now she's one cool intelligent chick with a great attitude and knowledge of the scene. I trashed the idea of going to Essen on April 15 for the Fetish Universe party as it's the 6th installment of the great Bal du Masque parties that night here in Amsterdam. Just hope that the barman i met last time isn't there as i know he's going to want to get personal with me but i really cannot face the idea of body fluid exchange. The fire in me needs lighting but that sort of thing just doesn't do it right now.

So back to the party and what a great bunch of people were there of all ages. There can't be many events on the social calender that is so accepting and non judgemental of people like me and i consider myself very lucky to be allowed by the Goths of this great country to party with them.

So night tripped into the early hours and DJ after Dj - Krat, Distorted Boy And Dorius kept us on our feet stomping our feet and wiggling our bodies to the super tunes of an Amora night. Vanilla tourist types (ok so they were club regulars) hogged the VJ experience as provided by V-Tox a very attractive girl in a snake skin & leather corset. I wonder if there are any TG VJ's around? Would love to learn if only for the experience.

Anyway a big thank you to the organisers who i know by site but not by name but here's hoping i can add them to my party friends posse soon.

5am saw us winging our way back to Amsterdam care of the ever so daring Isabelle who keeps surprising us with her daring exploits when we're not around.

Not goodbye, more au revoir!!!
